| Hi Friends, I'm here to save the day with my favorite, so far visited, places in India! For shopping and handicraft items, I really enjoyed Dilli Haat, some various local shops in some of the lesser well known cities, and most of all, Jaipur, where the hand made items are abundant. If you come across one of the beautiful newly constructed malls in India, including those in Delhi and Gurgaon, those are nice to just browse around to find a more modern selection. On my last trip, we ventured to Jaipur, where we, of course did tons of shopping, but what I really loved was a place called Choki Dhani, which is like no other place I've ever experienced. If it is at all possible, make sure you join the crowd in this lovely place, where you can purchase one ticket for entry, most shows, rides, and a very delicious meal. I especially loved the hot sweet milk served in a terra cotta cup. Yummy! Of course, there are the most well known attractions, like the Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, India Gate, and a vast number of other places to go and see, and these are certainly not to be missed. More later!
