Any info on the travel scenario in Bhopal?

I have been planning to visit Bhopal from a couple of months and finally would be visiting the city later the next month.

I have never been to Madhya Pradesh and this is my first city in the state. I have not made any specific plans on the visit, but would like to know more info on the place.

I am not sure when you are traveling there but Bhopal but late March is the best time to be here as temperatures are pleasant. Avoid May if you can as it gets quite hot.

The monsoon starts in late June and ends in late September and the humidity is quite high.

A few facts:

- Bhopal is home to the Raja Bhoj Airport which is located near the satellite suburb Bairagarh and has flights to most major cities in India.

- The official language of Bhopal City is Hindi, and Hindi-Urdu with a peculiar Bhopali accent is spoken in western and eastern parts of the city.
