Things to do in Indiana

I'm thnking of taking the kids to Indiana for a cheap summer vacation. Any ideas on attractions in Indiana to see and reasonable places to stay nearby?

If you are planning your summer vacation in Indiana, then it's a great vacation home. Indiana offers variety of places for the whole family including beaches, lakes, ski resorts, theme Parks, amusement parks, water parks and zoos to have more fun. The most popular time for having Indiana vacation is during summer and some of the exciting places are Patoka Lake, Indianapolis Zoo, Childrens Museum, Indiana beaches and Black Pine Animal Park.

Patoka Lake is a popular spot for fishing, swimming and camping. Here you can rent boats, houseboats and floating cabins and enjoy with your children. Indianapolis Zoo is a must see spot and it has over 3000 animals representing 320 species. The Dolphin in-water adventure is a special event in which you can meet a dolphin face to face. Myself and my kids took photographs with Dolphins and really it was the highlight of our Indiana vacation. Most of the time, we spent at Indiana beaches since they have several exciting water parks. And the Childrens Museum is a fun & enjoyable place which offers educational exhibits for all types for children. In addiiton to these attractions, Indiana has a variety of experiences to offer and if you find more time then visit Deep River Waterpark, Marengo Cave and Holiday World.
Indiana is a state that has many tjhings to do and variety of accommodation facilities that you can select from. Last summer, me and my family went to this awesome indoor water park called "Splash Universe" in Shipshewana. It was absolutely incredible. I recommend that place because there's something to do for the entire family. There's an arcade, waterslides, a family spa, hot tubs, a kiddie pool, and great shopping and dining.
