We are planning a holiday to the states and we are looking at the state of Indiana. It would be the first time, so I would appreciate some ideas as where to go in Indiana. Can you also recommend somewhere not too expensive to stay? Thank you

Hi there,

I would suggest the city of Indianapolis if you are a car racing or a NASCAR fan. If you are traveling in the month of May, you can attend the 'Indy 500' event and also the Allstate 400 event at the brickyard . The Indianapolis 500 event is a five hundred mile race held in the famous Indianapolis Speedway.

Another popular must-see attraction is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum, where visitors can learn the history of car racing, early car uniforms, etc.

Accommodation-wise , you can choose between luxury and budget Speedway hotels to fit your needs. If you are after a bit of pampering then, the Westin Indianapolis is right up there. It offers indoor pool, gym, massage services, etc.

If you are looking for something within budget, the Sleep Inn Indianapolis, Red Roof Inn Indianapolis Speedway and the Ramada Limited Indianapolis will fit your needs.
