Default Where to go scuba diving in Bali

What are your suggestions for the best places to go scuba diving in Bali? I'm thinking for beginners here. Thanks!

Default scuba diving on east coast of Bali

if you are looking for dive sites that are best for the first timers in terms overall experience I would head to the east coast of Bali. There you will find Amed which is great for first time scuba diving. Another place north of Amed is Talumben, which has a nice wreck you can dive that is very accessible for beginners. If you do a course or stay at Amed, Talumben's just up the road.

Default scuba diving in Bali

I second Amed and Talumben, and I would also add Padangbai. This place is a nice spot to base yourself if you are watching your money. It is a convenient place for diving in North East Bali and does not involve long car rides from the South of Bali.
