When to Go to Indonesia

hello, we are planning a trip to Indonesia next year and i am wondering when the best time would be to go there? can we get some input?

The best time to travel to Indonesia is from May to October and temperatures range from 78° F to 82°F. The humidity ranges from 69% to 95%.

Though the temperatures are hot during this time, most people come to this country during this time to avoid the rainy season.

The rainy season lasts from November to April. During the months of December and January, the weather is pleasant and comfortable. Rainfall is heavy during the wet season so make sure you carry an umbrella or a raincoat with you.

The temperatures are more or less cool during this time. This is good time if you are thinking of when to go to Indonesia. The crowd is less during this season and getting rooms in the hotels are easy.

Last time I went, it was in June and I guess that's early in the season. We had it really good as it was hardly crowded and we got a lot of swell. I think it goes until September or so. Where are you gonna go?

I think it's monsoon season then and that kinda sucks a bit. But, I bet it's not nearly as crowded. I've only been in June, July and August.

Hi there,

I'm from Indonesia. I can suggest you some places that I love to visit.

First of all is, of course, Bali Island. Lots of places to visit there such Kuta Beach, Besakih temple, Bedugul Beach, etc.

Second you can also visit Borobudur temple in Central Java. It's one of the seven wonders, right. And then you can also check Komodo Island :)

A lot of great places, but you may start with Bali Island. LOTS of tourists go there.
