Default Re: Sioux City Iowa

Hi there,

There are many parks within the city that attract people to the area such as Grandview Park which is located north of downtown and is home to the Municipal Bandshell which hosts municipal band concerts every Sunday evening in the summer.

If you are traveling in July, the Saturday in the Park annual music festival happens on the July 4th and it is one of the largest Iowa events.

There are a couple of Sioux City attractions such as the Sioux City Public Museum, which is a great place to learn about some Iowa history, the Sioux City Art Center, which hosts a large number of Sioux City events, and the Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, which teaches about Sioux City's place in the landmark expedition of Lewis and Clark.

Thumbs up Re: Sioux City Iowa

You won't want to miss the restored Orpheum Theatre in downtown Sioux City, the Historic 4th Street district with outstanding restaurants and nightlife as well as the Sioux City Art Center. Climb the 52-foot indoor climbing wall at the Long Lines Family Rec Center or visit Stone State Park for spectacular views of the tri-state area. The riverfront area downtown (Chris Larsen Park) also offers beautiful trails and the Anderson Dance Pavilion.
