|  campgrounds in Iowa hey guys, I am looking for campgrounds in Iowa and I wanted to get some input here..does anyone have any suggestions for campgrounds in the Okoboji region and south of Des Moines? thanks |

| Re: campgrounds in Iowa hi there, One option for Iowa camping in the Okoboji region is Elinor Bedell State Park, which is located along some of the last remaining open land on the shores of East Lake Okoboji. Half of the campsites can be reserved in advance, and the rest are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. South of Des Moines, Stephens State Forest preserves have campsites available all year, and can accommodate RVs, tents, and trailers. |
