Bed and Breakfast in Ireland are the way to go. The B&B's allow to soak in Ireland's charm, enjoy home-cooked Irish meals, friendly hosts, and take an intimate look at the typical Irish family life. B&Bs are everywhere in Ireland in small towns, villages and large cities like Dublin. If you plan to stay in a major city, I'd choose a B&B any day rather than reserve a room at a hostel or hotel. I do suggest also to book your B&B reservations if you travel to popular cities, especially during peak travel months.

Hello Kelli, generally speaking a tourist who is going on tour of Ireland would like to stay in budget hotel in Ireland. There are all types of ranges available in market. One can easily book any luxurious hotel for having luxurious services for him and his family and if you feel that you can not afford then there are many 1 star and two star rate hotels which come in class of budget hotels and providing luxurious services to their customers. if you want to have more cheap hotels and want to have only fundamental services only then you can also find good guest rooms, cottages etc. in Ireland.

There are many options available in Ireland for accommodation. The most cheapest starting from hostels that you have to share with other travelers and also with the locals. This is considered as the best place to make contacts with the locals and dig more about Ireland. The second option is to go for budget hotels or B&B. these are also nice options preferred by maximum tourists as they don;t have to stick at one place for more and so it comes out as a easy deal for them. The comes the small and big hotels that I don't think people traveling on budget will prefer. So it would be best if you make a choice from them to travel in budget. Also don't forget to book room before hand as it might be difficult to get one in peak season.
