My wife and Mother in law are going to Ireland in late September. They will be doing a tour for a couple of weeks. What can they expect for weather?

Hi Matt If you keep your eye on the Ireland Weather page it will give you up to date weather forecasts. The weather in Ireland is very interchangable. It can be Sunny one minute and rainly the next. September is actually one of the best months to visit and is usually one of the driest too.

As Lynnie has already mentioned Ireland is usually great in September. May is the other great month. The very worst that will happen is that it will rain. A coat and a hat will protect them from that. It may rain a lot in Ireland, but there is no extremes, so the weather is rarely nasty or dangerous.
