touring the Dingle Peninsula

we'll be heading to County Kerry and i am wondering if anyone has toured the Dingle Peninsula before and what does this area offer in terms of attractions?

For instance, in Ventry you can enjoy the lovely sandy beach, rent a pony and visit one of pubs and stores.

Also, from Ventry you can head to Slea Head, where several archaeological sites are located where you can catch an awe-inspiring glimpse into the fascinating history of the Irish people.
