| hiya, We'll be flying out to Rome and staying there for a week, then move on to Venice.. Im wondering if a flight from Rome to Venice will be much more expensive than the train ride? Also, once in Venice how long does it take by train to the Marco Polo airport? any ideas? |

| hi there, The flight from Rome to Venice will be quicker but the train ride is a good way to see the beautiful Italian countryside scenery. I just looked around for latest prices, and a flight from Rome to Venice is around $30 versus the train ride which will cost around $80. Once in Venice, trains run from Santa Lucia Train Station to Marco Polo International Airport every 30 minutes between 8:20 a.m. and 8:40 p.m. hope this helps Vacationbuddy
