Is late September a good time to visit Sardenia

We are planning to take a vacation in late September and were thinking of going to Sardenia. My husband is concerned that it will be deserted and restaurants and activities closed. Does anyone have insight on traveling to Sardenia at this time?

In late September many resorts in the south of Sardinia are closed for the season and only a few remained open all year around. For instance, Cannigione and Palau are open most of the year.

Good time is also late Summer and Autumn.In July and August you’ll encounter crowded beaches and if you drive, will experience troubles for the traffic on the ways heading to the seaside detonations.In August the cities are crowded by tourists, but as most of Italians afford their holiday in this month, the traffic will be satisfactory and the cities enjoyable.
