flight to Florence from the United States

hiya, is there a direct flight to Florence from the United States? I can't seem to find any flights and I am wondering why. Any ideas on how to get cheap flights to Florence?

Unfortunately, you can't get a direct flight to Florence from the United States, and flights leaving the states to Florence involve at least a stop over.

If you want to fly to Florence from JFK Airport in New York City, for instance, you will likely be stopping off at Rome Fiumicino Airport before making the last leg of your journey. On the way back, you'll be laying over at either London Heathrow or London Gatwick Airport before heading back to NYC.

If you're departing from the west coast such as from LAX, you will also be stopping off at Rome Fiumicino on the way, while the trip home normally has a lay over at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport.

If you want to get cheap flights to Florence from the states it's advisable you get a flight to either England or France and then take a connecting flight to Florence.
