nightlife in Florence

hi, is the nightlife in Florence fairly diverse, would you say? what kind of bars are there? and is there international bars like pubs, etc, etc?

Also, is Florence a student town?

Florence is amazingly touristy town most of the year so you can find a variety of nightlife like international bars,clubs and many tourists. The club scene tends to consist of many students and if you want to check the scene out, head down to Via dei Pandolfini where you will be able to find variety of music venues and loud nightclubs.

You'll also find a variety of American style restaurants, British pubs and Irish pubs. The traditional wine bars in Florence are located in Via dei Cimatori, or any of the streets off of the Piazza S. Pier Maggiore.
