| we only have 10 days to explore italy and need your input guys!...if you could only visit 5 historical places in Italy, which would they be? |

| Rome is one of the best places in Italy to witness a glimpse into the past, and majesty that was the Roman Empire so, I'd recommend spending at least 5 days there. In Rome you'll find historic figures statues such as Julius Caesar, Caligula, Mark Antony and Constantine. Rome also has some of the most important historical monuments in Italy such as the Roman forum, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Palatine hill and Circus Maximus. There are also so many historical sites in Italy that they have to be seen to be believed! |

| We did 5 days in Rome and 5 in Florence, and were very happy with this. You can't see everything in only 10 days, and there's more than enough in these 2 cities to keep you busy. Take a day trip to Sienna from Florence and to Pompeii from Rome to round things out. |
