|  busiest time of the year in Portofino hey guys, sorry if this has been answered!...does Portofino get as busy as Venice in the summer? if so, when is the next best time to travel? |

|  Re: busiest time of the year in Portofino Yes, summer is the busiest time of the year in Portofino too, and pretty much anywhere on the Italian Riviera. The crowds are large in summer but you will love it there since some of the best events and festivities also take place during Portofino's summer season. If crowds aren't your thing, I suggest traveling top Portofino just before May or after August so you can avoid the large tourist crowds! |
