| is the Roman Forum a must-see and worth our time there? the thing that may put me off is having to join the typical and annoying tour group..thoughts? |

| When I last visit the Roman Forum area it was great, though I wouldn't necessary is a must. Bu the way, if you want to learn about the history of the Roman Forum without joining the typical tour group you could try a downloadable audio walking tour Also, keep in mind that if you buy tickets for the Colosseum and Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum is included in the price and is certainly worth a look. I suggest buying your tickets at Palatine Hill instead of the Colosseum though. |
