|  Rome to Pompeii Does anyone know the best way to take a day trip from Rome to Pompeii? I'm visiting in July 08 |

|  Re: Rome to Pompeii I suggest train would be the best. The distance from Rome to Pompeii is 150 miles. There are many organized tours from Rome to Pompeii, but it is easy to do by train. It takes approximately 3 hours and costs 21 euros. Eurostars and Intercities are running from Rome to Pompeii. I recommend the Eurostars as they are more reliable. So better book with Eurostar and have a happy journey. |
