Italy is a country filled with amazing and interesting things and my Italian vacation was a lifetime experience, hope for everyone. Nearly I spent about 3 weeks and visited Rome, Venice, Florence & Verona and explored Italy's beautiful coasts, museums, cuisine and much more.

Rome, capital of Italy is a wonderful city and it's top attractions include The Colosseum, Protestant Cemetery, Palatine Hill, Trevi Fountain and Vatican Museums. If you are looking for a place to stay in Rome then just visit Rome hotels page. The hightlight of my Florence trip was the Accademia gallery which has very important collection of Florentine paintings and the Uffizi Museum which is the most visited tourist attraction of this city. The Florence hotel page will help you find a good accommdation at Florence.

Tuscany has wondeful beaches and museums. Marina di Carrara, Marina di Massa, Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio and San Vincenzo are some of the best Tuscan beaches. I have visited Marina di Massa, Forte dei Marmi and they were lovely. Some of the popular Italian cuisines can be found in Venice , and this city offers wonderful and exciting places to eat out with a wide choices of food. I really had a nice Italian dining especially variety of pasta dishes. oh! it was delicious, hope you too like it!

Italy has good transportation network and if you want to trvel around Italy then I suggest the Italian public transport which is is usually cheap and probably the best way to get around Italian cities. And visit Italy flights page to find a cheap airfare to Italy. Best wishes!

Red face Re: Tours of Italy

Thanks for the insight. Have you any recommendations regarding the best tour groups? We are thinking about using either Go Ahead Tours or Globus? Any advice?
