Italy

Art, History, and thousands of years of modern culture can be found in Italy. At the beautiful city of Venice you can experience the Venice Carnevale. Visit the Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel in the Vatican Museum. Visit the Trevi Fountain and experience the fable power. Lean with the Leaning Tower Of Pisa or stand with the Statue of David.

Default Winter, Rome and to the North

Well... Whats good. I've been to Venice, Florence, Rome, Pisa and Perugia. I'm looking for a decent sized city at which to spend some time, in the northern part of the country (too keep my trip kinda linear). I speak italian relatively well, so language barrier isn't too much of an issue until you start hitting german/italian mix very near to the border...

Just looking for anything that might spark interest... Two minds are better than one

How about Milan? Or...Milano? Check out the Duomo, I found it fairly impressive, to say the least. Try not to go on a Monday though, as a lot of stuff (museums, shops, etc) will be closed. Eating out there can seen a little pricey, but I'm sure you'd be able to find some good bargains if you try hard enough.
