|  best transportation mode in Tokyo hi, Looking around the web, some people say that car rental is best and others don't..what do you think it's the best transportation mode in Tokyo that don't cost much? |

|  Re: best transportation mode in Tokyo hi there, Definitley avoid taxis in Tokyo as they cost a small fortune, while Tokyo car rental offers the advantage of great freedom but they can be pricey. Either way, make sure to obtain an international driving permit for car rental and be aware that drivers ride on the left side of the road. I think the Tokyo subway is the best and cheapest mode of transportation but it is up to you! |
