day trip to Tokyo

hi, we'll be traveling to Sapporo and basing our holiday there for our two weeks in Japan. We'll be touring other cities though such as Tokyo. what things can you suggest doing on a one day trip to Tokyo? any ideas?

Hi there,

Just a day in Tokyo is still plenty of time to check out most of the city's attractions.

First off, I would head to the Tsukiji Fish Market, which is the best place where you can try fresh sushi and other seafood delights. Then, the Tokyo National Museum is worth checking out as it is not far from the area.

A couple of districts, I would add to the day trip are Asakusa district and Shiodome district where you can get a feel of old and new Japan.
