anyone been to Japan on Christmas eve?

we've found some cheap flights and a few friends of mine we'll be going to Japan for 6 days to spend the Christmas there. It's kinda last minute and we haven't planned much....any tips on spending Christmas Eve in Japan? thanks!

I've been to Japan in spring but not during Christmas, though my friends tell me it's a blast there! Christmas in Japan is pretty much like in Europe and they Japanese like to also decorate their streets and sing Christmas carols, so you might be surprised at what you guys will find in Japan over the Christmas season.

Tokyo is also a popular place to spend Christmas and see Christmas light displays such as Shinjuku Terrace City, Shiodome City Center and Nihon TV and Caretta Shiodome, which hosts the "Caretta Ocean Xmas".

I never been to Japan but heard some of my friends that the Christmas Eve is pretty good in Japan. You will enjoy it definitely. Be in the capital.
