Japan

Japan has everything for those who wish to explore mountainous regions or those who enjoy the ultra-modern districts. Climb to the top of Mt. Fuji, or visit the numerous attractions in Tokyo. Transportation is widely available and the most popular is travel by train. Experience the culture and history that Japan has to offer.

Cool My first time in Japan

Hello everybody,
I’m Pasquale, an Italian guy living in South East UK.
Usually Italian people are known as poets, musicians and travellers. I can classify myself in the third category…
Yes, I love travelling… I have travelled to lots of cities in Europe. My friends said me that I’m like a vagabond because I’m continually moving from a city to another and I have never had a fixed placed to stay in the last 5 years… Basically the reason is because I LOVE studying foreign language. At moment I speak fluently English, Spanish and French.

It’s a while now that I have started to study Japanese as well. The main reason is because I’d like to learn more about the intriguing aspects of East Asian cultures.

I have trip coming up in the JAPAN in August of this year and would like some advice, please. My plan is to fly into NAGOYA and visiting the east coast in Japan.

Can anybody suggest any must see places? I have some ideas, But more the better.

Many Thanks. Pasquale.

Nagoya is Japan's fourth most populated city. We were enjoyed the most interesting place Atsuta Shrine during our vacation and it is one of the most important Shinto Shrine in Japan next to the Ise Jingu Shrine. We have also visited Nagoya Castle, Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, Inuyama Castle, Lake Suwa, the old town of Takayama and Gero Hot Springs. My kids very much enjoyed the riding in the Bullet Train to Tokyo and explored the Tokyo Disneyland. Have a nice trip!

Hi, I travelled around Japan for three months and spent some time WWOOFing. It's a volunteer scheme and an excellent way to meet and live with Japanese people. It will give you a good experience of the culture and could help with your Japanese learning.

Have a great trip.
