|  Sapporo Snow Festival Hi All! Just thought I'd share that it's almost time for the annual Sapporo Snow Festival. Usually held for one week in February, this year Hokkaido's capital, Sapporo, will host it from February 6 through 12, 2007. For those that don't know and/or will be in the should know that it is quite the commercial event with snow and ice sculptures. Stage in three parts of the city (he Odori Site, Susukino Site and Sato Land Site), visitors will be able to view these famous sculptures. Note that those with families will probably enjoy the Sato Land Site as it is geared towards families with ice mazes and slides. If anyone is going I'd love to hear about this years sculptures and if you've got pictures that's even better! |
