|  Kansas Zoos hiya, This summer I'll be taking my family to Kansas for a family-friendly vacation. I hear that Kansas has plenty of zoos so I was looking for a few suggestions on zoos and family-friendly attractions...thanks |

| Re: Kansas Zoos hi there, Yes, there is plenty of zoos but don't miss the prairies where you can explore plenty of wildlife and do some bird spotting. For instance, the Konza Prairie Preserve features many different kinds of plants, mammal species, fish and birds. Regarding zoos, the Sedgwick County Zoo, in Wichita, is one of the best. It features more than 2,500 animals and five of the planet's seven continents are represented in different areas at the Sedgwick County Zoo, and there's even a petting farm here that would ideal for your kids. |

|  Re: Kansas Zoos There is a wonderful zoo and museum near Salina just south of I-70. The Rolling Hills Zoo and Naturl History Museum is fantastic. It is located in the beautiful rolling plains and you will not only be amazed by the selection of animals in natural settings but the landscaping as well. It has a great cafe and if you don't want to walk there are trams. A must see! |
