nice hotel in Kisumu

Headed to Kisumu on 12th October and planning to stay for atleast 3 nights, not make any hotel bookings yet, so does anyone have any idea on accommodation at Kisumu or stayed in any one of the good Kisumu hotels. I'm looking for a nice stay near Kisumu’s city center, so please recommend a nice hotel in Kisumu, thanks for any replies.

If you are looking for nice hotels in Kisumu, then the Sunset hotel, Nyanza club and the hotel Hamba are some of the best options. The sunset hotel is located very near that is just 5 minutes from the city centre and 15 minutes from Kisumu Airport. It gives you a perfect view of Lake Victoria and offers safari & car rental services. I spent 2 nights in the Nyanza club and it has various accommodation types with single beds, double beds and triple beds. I made online booking and you can even do the same. The hotel Hamba is located just 1k away from Kisumu town center and it has a restaurant in the ground floor. My friend and I had nyama choma here and it was delicious. The pleasant town of Kisumu is located on the shores of Lake Victoria and offers many things to do. And some of the places you can visit in and around Kismu are Kisumu Museum, Impala Park, Dunga Beach and Ndere Island.

I have visited the hotels page and made booking in the Sunset hotel since it has attractive view of Lake Victoria and very close to the city centre and Kisumu airport. Normally I don't want to travel much, so it is good to stay near the attractions, anyway thanks guy, see you soon.

Here are two hotels that you can consider. Hotel Hamba is located 1 km from the center of Kisumu town center. Its a 3 star hotel the provides modern facilities and services. The other hotel is the Imperial Hotel located in the heart of Africa and near the world's second largest fresh water lake - Lake Vitoria. I think Imperial Hotel is much more advanced than Hotel Hamba. Hope you enjoy your stay on Kenya.
