October Visit to Vegas

I'm planning a trip with a friend to Vegas from 10/10 - 10/13.. Best deal I seem to find so far is the Stay and Play Package at Excalibur for $475... Ideally would like to find a package deal at the same price range, maybe a little more, at a different place..haven't heard a lot of good things about Excalibur. Everything else seems to end in Sept.. do you think there will be a lot of deals popping up in the coming weeks? Any advice/tips you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Your just a bit far ahead in planning for the deals. I can find you a promo code for a hotel deal towards the end of July. whats your interest? pools, clubs, gambling...

I typically don't recommend the Excalibur but for the same price range is the Luxor Hotel or a little bit more the Monte Carlo.

Yeah, I saw the Luxor deal.. Guess ideally we'd like to find package deals..my friend likes getting extras that they are offering. Just looking for someplace fun, doesn't have to be too terribly trendy. Good pool, good bars, restaurants. Ideally on the strip. Do you think there will be more package deals that pop up in the coming weeks?

Just posted a bunch of new promo codes today in the forum. Here's one that is probably the best deal to mid-low priced properties at the Luxor.

Luxor Las Vegas Promotion Code valid until 12/31/07. Use the Luxor Promotion Code: LNON on their website and score a deal as low as $59.00 per night for a room.
and another is the Mandalay Bay Promotion Code valid until 9/30/2007. Use the Mandalay Bay Promotion Code: PMBEO on their website and get deals as low as $129.00 per night for rooms at Mandalay Bay.

Of the two picks if you can afford Mandalay Bay I'd recommend it

Any updated codes out there? I'm planning a trip with my college roommate (to celebrate our 30th birthdays) Oct 18 - 21st and can't seem to get any codes that work. I could find the Luxor one, but she'd rather stay more north on the strip (I've not been there, so I don't know). She's thinking The Mirage or Treasure Island. . .any ideas/suggestions?

I'm also looking for those same exact dates to celebrate my best friend's 30th B-Day. We'd like to stay someplace nice (at least 4-star). I'll be staying tuned.

Just booked a room at the Mirage..they have some super cheap rates going.. Look for the special Web rates on the Mirage reservations page..
