Booking Vegas trip May 2009...

How far in advance do promo codes tend to come out? I'm planning my next trip to Vegas, which will be May 2009. I try and get the flights as far ahead as I can as they seem to be cheaper. But the rooms are always full price and there are never any promo codes available that far in advance. Any ideas???

I'd wait until February next year to book. You must be a planner..
