Hotel??

Coming to Vegas in August. Anyone with an opinion on the Westin Casaurina?

What standard are the Atrium Suites as we are not bothered about a casino, but I do like a nice large room preferably with fridge and coffe facilities. got a friend who has offered the Stratosphere Tower rooms at a really low price, but I don't know what condition the rooms are in.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

(Do NOT want the Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, MGM Signature, or any in the $1800+ price range for a week)

I personally have not stayed at the Westin Casaurina but from my experience the Westin maintains a pretty level of quality throughout its properties.

I have stayed at the Atrium Suites and they do have large rooms "suites" with all the amenities. Its off strip, but not too far and you can walk to the strip. They have a decent pool and the people are freindly. The property is definitely not as loud and slick as other casino properties.

The Stratosphere Tower is a decent property but not one of my favorites. Check out the virtual tour in the link above.

Depending on when your traveling the 1800/wk hotels are not 1800. I recently posted a reply on the spring break thread that had a few great deals. http://www.destination360.com/forum/...las-vegas.html

Just been on the Wyn site and the room is $1981.00 for 30th August-7 nights.
Any advice on

Southpoint Hotel and Spa
Platinum Hotel
Meridian Resort
Holiday Inn Express (South)
Some are a bit way out but we are hiring a car.

Didn't book any of the above, went for Hilton Grand Vacation on the Strip, (2650), i bedroom suite.

Well.....as I stated in another thread.....I just can't say ENOUGH about Paris!! It was beautiful. It was immaculate. We had great service. We will go back to Paris Las Vegas!
