Default Where to stay

I am going to plan a trip to Vegas, but not until next summer. I am trying to get some basic information, so when it comes closer to time to book, I know exactly what I want.

It will just be my husband and myself, we are in our late 30's. It is our first trip anywhere without the kids for more than an overnight stay. Our usual vacation destination is Disney World, so obviously, kids are not an issue. I do not mind if there are a lot of childrne in a resort. I want to stay on the strip, maybe somewhere at least semi accessible to the big casinos. I would prefer not spending a fortune, but would like to stay somewhere nice. I want it to be special for my husband, because he has always wanted to go to Vegas, so I want to stay somewhere decent, but does not have to be fancy, basically clean and fun.

Thank you in advance for any input.

What kind of amenities are you looking for and what kind of budget do you have? You may want to check out our Las Vegas Hotel Deals section if you're looking for something on the strip. The MGM Grand might be a nice choice. It's a stop on the Las Vegas Monorail, making it accessible to the other hotels including Paris and Harrahs.
