Question construction and noise next to the Monte Carlo

Hi, I wil be in Las Vegas in April 2009 with my husband. (10 th year Vegas wedding anniversary)
We booked the journey from France, through a travel agency which proposed a room at the Monte Carlo Hotel.
I v'e been reading a lot of critics about the building area all over the Monte Carlo Hotel (I think that's the Hyatt and City center beeing built here)....
Can someone tell me if the works will be finished by the month of April ?
Can someone tell me if that's really a pain concerning view and noise ?
I still can switch my booking and go to the New York New York, can someone tell me if that's the right thing to do ?
Thanks for the answers.

Hi Caren,

I would suggest to switch to another Hotel if you can.The fact is that building work is very hard to time even if they give you a time scale. There are many factors that could easily delay the work and you wouldn't want to find out when you are there.

Also, have a look these Las Vegas promo codes: http://www.destination360.com/forum/...omo-codes.html

Hope this helps

Thank you for your advice, it helped : we eventually switched for the Treasure Island. Hope it's a good choice...
