Im planning a getaway with a few friends to Vegas this Halloween..what's the party scene going to be like in Vegas this Halloween? has anyone got anything planned? what are the hottest event bashes this Halloween in Vegas?

Monster Mayhem is always the hottest event in Vegas every Halloween. It starts on Oct 15 at Village Square and they'll be carnival rides and plenty of entertainment at Monster Mayhem.

There'll be also plenty of costume events in Vegas such as the Fetish and Fantasy Ball at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino which is held on Oct 30

There’s no end to the things to do in Las Vegas for Halloween. For 2011 for adult fun, Fright Dome at Circus Circus turns into a super Halloween fright night with five haunted houses guaranteed to make your spine tingle. For the truly brave, take the haunted elevator to the 13th floor at Circus Circus and tour 13 very scary rooms. Through October 31, there’s the OktoberFrightFest festival each night along Fremont Street. There are plenty of late night parties going on for Halloween. Check out Studio 54 Nightclub, Tabu Ultra Lounge, Empire Ballroom Nightclub, Tao Nightclub, and the Playboy Club for some serious party action.

Lots of great party options for sure. This year I think I'll check out the Beaux Arts Ball at Studio54, and possibly the Scaramel party at the Bellgio's Caramel Lounge, since I think it's closing after this event. The Fetish & Fantasy Ball was worth seeing too, though now that it's out at South Point instead of the Hard Rock I'll have to see how the plans shape up. Any last minute recommendations for things to do there before we leave tomorrow?

Outside of the usual great shopping, shows, etc., you might check out the Halloween parade. It's on Monday, 10/31, at 7 pm. It goes down Fourth Street, and the costume contest is pretty cool. If you want to enter, registration is from 4 pm to 6 pm at 4th & Hoover streets.
