| Las Vegas New Years parties Ring in the the 2007 New Year in style!
Just one of the many Las Vegas New Years parties will be at the Empire Ball Room. Doors open at 9pm and the party doesn't stop until 10am. There'll be a main room, a Hip Hop lounge, and the Patio will also have live music. You'll find the Empire Ball Room across from the Monte Carlo Las Vegas. So after you've partied it up on New Year's Eve, rest assured there'll be a hotel nearby. You must get tickets to the Empire Ball Room New Years Eve Party so be sure to get them early if you want to be part of this party!
If that's not your style, maybe the Voodoo Las Vegas New Years Eve can satisfy your needs. Their party will start up at 8pm and you'll find them on the 51st floor of the Rio Las Vegas Hotel. You'll have one of the best views of the town.Be sure to get your to get VIP, your table, and more!
One of the hottest Las Vegas New Years parties is at Drais in the Barbary Coast Las Vegas. Continuing to bring you the hottest after hours spot, you'll truly be able to party until dawn. They've got their live resident DJs spinning and the party starts on 12.31.06 at 9pm.
Be sure to book a hotel and be safe! Hey maybe you'll even run into Vegas Ed at one of the many Las Vegas New Years Eve parties! Who knows! If you do, then you know you're at a hot party! |

| Re: Las Vegas New Years parties NICE! Party time Paaarty time! I've never partied it up "Las Vegas" style for New Years. I had a cousin who spent New Years in Vegas and said that the parties are all night through the next morning and the streets are pretty much just packed with people. Is it even worth getting a hotel? If so, can anyone recommend a decent priced one? |

| Re: Las Vegas New Years parties A hotel is a must unless you plan on meeting a "friendly" at one of the clubs and share their bed. The streets are not packed but but the clubs and afterhour parties sure are. Drais is one of the more well known late night clubs with people rolling in after 2am. |

| Re: Las Vegas New Years parties I agree with slone. If you have intentions of making any new "friends" with someone who has a room and getting cozy there, you're golden and don't need a hotel room. BUT! I would definitely recommend on getting reservations for yourself or you and some friends. Best to sleep in places you know are going to be safe.
Hope you have a great time in Vegas!

It's all relative though right? Seriously, it's a tricky thing unless you plan on being in town for more than that night. The reason is that you most likely won't be done partying until the sun is up (well, if you are doing it right). With that, you should arrive back at the hotel around 6-8am or later. The problem herein lies with the fact that if you got the room that night, checkout is generally at 11a, so it's merely a catnap. If you are only crashing for a few hours like that, get a cheap, non-casino hotel off the strip. There are some in every direction, so plan one according to where you plan to make your LAST STOP of the night/morning. There are plenty of resources to find those (hotels.com, orbitz.com, travelocity.com and tripadvisor.com), so do your homework and it should pay off
If you will be in town for a few more days, look into a comfortable, valued priced casino like the Luxor, Harrahs, Ballys or Excalibur. Time is running out on most hotels already, so do it NOW! Use hotel chains like starwood, intercontinental and hilton to search in the Vegas area. Their rooms are usually comfortable and in close proximity to the action and casinos.
Of course, if you are hitting it in style, you already know where to go. The problem now is availability. I recommend that as you enjoy your time there, look around and make mental notes for your next trip. Crazy as it sounds, it's never to early to plan and book your stay for next NYE.
I hope that helps!

| Re: Las Vegas New Years parties Ha, I'm not quite sure what the AVN convention is but someday I'll find out! Thanks for all of the information. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be in Vegas too long so my best option would be a hotel off of the strip.
As for the making new "friends" option, while it's intriguing, it's not quite my style. But hey who knows...it is Vegas right? Just kidding.
Here's to the end of 2006...thank goodness it's over! |

| Re: Las Vegas New Years parties For all you highroller New Years players take your pick at which celebrity you would like to party with.
Britney Spears will host Pure Nightclub's New Year's Eve bash. She'll host the ceremony in the club's main VIP section and then zip up onto the club's patio roof to watch the spectacular 12-hotel Strip fireworks show.
Nicole Richie will probably host the countdown at PURE's sister club Tangerine
Kid Rock does the countdown at JET in the Mirage where table minimums have been set at $2,400, which permits 8 guests who then have to buy at least 2 bottles of champagne.
Pamela Anderson is expected to host the TAO midnight countdown at The Venetian.
At JET's parent club Light, Cirque du Soleil performers from the five current Strip shows will dance and host its midnight celebration.
Playmate of the Year Kara Monaco and Miss May '06 Alison Waite will be live at the Playboy Club in the Palm and introduce Hugh Hefner via satellite link from the LA Mansion with his trio of Girls Next Door to do the countdown from there.
