The fierce percussion-rich dance performance company that created
"Stomp" is getting a home in Las Vegas. Beginning in April, the new production, entitled "Stomp Out Loud" will show at
Planet Hollywood (formerly Aladdin) in a new $28 million theatre. This marks the first real head-to-blue head competition that the unique
Blue Man Group, now playing at the
Venetian, has had in Vegas. Having seen both, I can attest that both performances are incredible and filled with adrenaline...personally, I prefer the edginess and urban feel that Stomp presents over the futuistic theatrical performance of the Blue Man Group. Both can jam though, that's for sure. "Stomp Out Loud" is the latest addition to the new Planet Hollywood casino hotel in attempts to re-brand and bring a new crowd to the transformed casino.
Tickets go on sale at the beginning of March and should range between $50 and $110 for the Thursday-Tuesday shows.
