|  Entertainer Danny Gans dies Legendary Vegas Strip performer Danny Gans died early Friday at his Las Vegas-area home. A spokeswoman for Wynn Resorts said Gans was found by his wife about 3 a.m. Gans, 52, was a singer, actor, and impressionist, and he was one of the most popular entertainers in Las Vegas for the past fifteen years. In February, he debuted his award-winning show at the new Encore Theater, where he showed off his skills at comedy and celebrity impressions. Gans was named the Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year eleven consecutive times, and he won a slew of other awards during his time at the Stratosphere, the Rio, and the Mirage, where he performed for eight years.
