hi there, I am not sure about a VW camper van but I would suggest a Vegas helicopter ride as an alternative. I reckon that taking a helicopter ride in Las Vegas it's one of the best ways to take in the sights both in Las Vegas and places such as the majestic Grand Canyon, Skywalk, Monument Valley, Hoover Dam, and Valley of Fire.

the bus and trolley buses are the cheapest way to see Las Vegas strip. Public buses stop near and between all the casinos on the strip, though the trolly bus system drop you off closer to the casino than the public buses. They actually drop you off on Casino property. Depending on the casino, some get you real close to the doors while other stops are a short walk. They now cost $1.75 and you do need exact change as the driver does not and will not make change. Dollar bills and exact change are fine.

well, I reckon walking has to be the cheapest way to see the Strip because it's free:) if you do walk though, remember that the west side of the street from Center Strip to the Venetian is always crowded because of the dancing fountains outside Bellagio. It's best to go at night, when the fountains are illuminated with spotlights. By the way, forget about hailing a taxi on the Strip because they never stop. Best you go to one of the hotels' taxi stand lines to get a taxi.
