Default Wynn Las Vegas Trip Report

Hi All,

As you might notice our forums are a bit sparse but were working hard to be a great service to you all. I'll get the trip reports started with my experiences I'd been 24 Las Vegas Strip Hotels, about 15 clubs, and most of the sights you'll find in Vegas.

On my most recent trip I stayed at the Wynn Hotel:

see photos/virtual tours:
http://www.destination360.com/north-...vegas/wynn.php

the wynn is newest 5star resort hotel on the strip and they really paid attention to the details. while it may not be as elegant as the bellagio it suited my tastes just fine. I like the small compact size of the hotel, walking from end to end won't take more than 10 minutes. The room decor is very modern and comfortable the windows are especially nice since they go floor to ceiling and inlcude a flatscreen tv mounted to the wall. see virtual tour: http://www.destination360.com/north-...esort-room.php

The pool, pool bar, and european style pool is one of my favorite pools in Vegas.
See virtual tours: http://www.destination360.com/north-.../wynn-pool.php. One thing that a bit of a shock is $8.00 bottles of water, bring your own. Hint: access to the VIP pool can be had by reaching in a opening the door. No security...

You can compare all the Las Vegas Pools here:

The location of the Wynn is a bit out of the center of the strip so taxis and driving at night is a must but then again if your driving the parking lot is small and near the hotel so again not alot of long walks. One free attraction that is worth stopping by for a drink is the Lake of Dreams show. Its hard to get a good free view since the best seats will be found in one of the bars that surround the lake.

My stay lasted 5 days, one hotel per day so I'll be posting more hotels later.

Wynn Water.

Hey Dan i thought the wynn water was $6.00 bottle not that its a bigger either way I'd recommend going to walgreens on the Las Vegas Strip and filled the fridge full of .99 bottles.

That is a long walk for someone staying at the Wynn...even if you went to the Walgreens a block or two north the hotel, I think most guests at the Wynn would prefer to walk the air conditioned Fashion Show Mall across the street...you can always get water there for less as well...(why am I picturing a guy walking in with a case of water to the Wynn casino?...so classy eh?....lol)

I just returned from another trip to the Wynn and had an opportunity to stay in a suite which was fantasic! In total I spent seven days in Vegas but during my two days at the Wynn I checked out the Spamalot show which I'd highly recommend. Tryst their in-house club was off the hook on a Thursday night, packed asses to elbows.

While its not the cheapest luxury hotel on the strip its one I'd highly recommend. Prices for resort rooms are generally about $229 on weeknights and double that on Friday and Saturday nights. Check out the Wynn Las Vegas website for rates.
