|  exploring New Orleans wildlife hi all, We'll be in New Orleans next week with kids and we are looking for suggestions for exploring New Orleans wildlife. We'll be doing Mardi Gras World but I was hoping you could suggest any attractions to do with kids in the outdoors thanks |

| Re: exploring New Orleans wildlife hi there, I can suggest Honey Island Swamp as a great place to spend time with the family. It is just 50 minutes from New Orleans, and it is an impressive swath of land is over 250 square miles, including some 70,000 acres of protected wildlife area. If your kids are interested in animals, especially unique and infrequently seen ones, this will be an experience of a lifetime. |
