|  Grand Isle from Baton Rouge hey there, how far is Grand Isle from Baton Rouge and route do you advice taking to get there? Also, is there any parks down there for exploring the outdoors? thanks |

|  Re: Grand Isle from Baton Rouge hi there, It is three hours from Baton Rouge and the main things to do here are enjoying the stunning Grand Isle beaches as well as the world-class fishing. Highway 1 is the main route to take when heading toward Grand Isle and the Gulf of Mexico, where the barrier island is situated. Grand Isle State Park is ideal for all sorts of activities and if you love taking pictures there is a large diversity of landscape and the rich wildlife throughout the park. You can also enjoy boating and enjoy great fishing and even the surf fishing. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
