|  Re: popular destination in Macedonia hi there, The most popular tourist destination for trips to Macedonia is the town of Ohrid, located on the shore of Lake Ohrid in the southwestern part of the country. You guys will be charmed by the host of ancient buildings such as the Church of St. Sophia, which is a large basilica built in the 11th century! When visiting Ohrid, you will also have access to beautiful natural beaches with cliffs, forested hills, and mountains surrounding the lake. |
