Hi there,

Ogunquit is popular for its excellent theatrical productions such as the famous Ogunquit Playhouse which is one of the few remaining summer stock theatres in the United States. It has entertained Ogunquit locals and visitors since 1933, with performances by actors such as Bette Davis, Tallulah Bankhead, and Gary Merrill.

Also, you will definitely want to take a hike along the Marginal Way which is a well-maintained pathway that begins across the Seacastles Resort on Shore Road. It meanders past a number of tide pools, pocket beaches, and rocky, fissured bluffs, all of which you will want to explore while holidaying in Ogunquit Maine.

I've only been to Ogunquit 1 time, about 20 years ago! :-s
But from what i remember of that vacation:
- Great food! There are many restaurants by the coast who serve great seafood
- Fine walks one the beach and shopping in little typical stores
- Also wharehouse shopping was popular there

I guess it's time i go back! :-)

Enjoy your vacation!
