|  Get Bogged Down Maine is located with peatlands - more than 750,000 acres of bogs and fens, providing superior habitat for many species of birds. Unfortunately, most of these places are far from civilazation and even if you can find them, exploration is confined to the edges unless you want to wade into who-knows-how-many feet of cold mush. |
