| Expansive,. remote and sparsely populated, Aroostook County is an undiscovered gem for outdoor sports minded folks and a treasure for history buffs. The county, as it's called, is larger in area than the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island combined and is bounded by Maine's North Woods and two Canadian provinces. It's a region that encourages you to slow down and enjoy the good life. |

| Moderator Jr Member | I was just thinking about up-north Maine today. I am starting to see a few leaves change, and I was thinking that Maine is probably already seeing signs of fall. Has anyone seen some good fall leaf shows yet? My favorite part of Aroostook County is its connection to potato culture. The tubers are a really important part of the local economy. That means the eating is really good too!
