| My wife and I are spending 4 nights in KL in mid April and we heard that Batu Caves are very popular, we would appreciate if anybody gives more information about it? |

| Yes, you are right. The Batu Caves are one of the best well known attractions of Malaysia is located about 15 kms north of Kuala Lumpur. It’s a sacred place for Hindus in Malaysia and a must go tourist spot. Admission is free. To reach the caves you have to climb up 272 steps and the view from the top is amazing. There are many Indian stalls in the main square and they are selling many Hindu related products, so worth spending time to see all the items in each stall. But watch out for the long tailed monkeys in the rear atrium and keep a close eye, they might take off your bags if you have any eatables in it. It’s really a superb place with amazing surroundings, so visit Batu Caves and enjoy the distinctive Hindu nature. Have a nice KL trip! |
