hi,
we're looking at traveling to south-east Asia, probably Malaysia but we're not sure as prices seem quite expensive. Does anyone where to get more info on flights to Asia and how to get a good deal? thanks in advance

Hi there,

Most cheap flights to Malaysia fly into the Kuala Lumpur Airport. However, if you are flying from North America, flights to Malaysia will be in the range of $1500 to $2000 so it's best to travel during the low season to benefit from cheaper prices.

Therefore, avoid traveling from November to January and from June to August which is the second major peak season. Summer season peaks in the months of June through August and last into September.

If you are planning on experiencing Malaysia culture on one of the beautiful islands in Malaysia plan ahead. Book your Penang hotels or Langkawi hotels in advance as these areas get extremely busy. Middle Eastern families enjoy holidays around this time of year but after September Malaysia tours slow down again and quiet returns.

Air Asia offers the best deals around so be sure to look them up.
