hiya,

we'd love to enjoy a sailing holiday in Malta and I was wondering if anyone of you could share some light on the difference between skippered and fully crewed charter? ...and, where can we find boat charters?

hi there,

The main difference between a skippered charter and a fully crewed charter is the price. When you hire a skippered charter, it comes with a professional captain, while a fully crewed boat hire in Malta but you get both a captain and a professional crew.

Most sailing holidays in Malta will begin in the large marinas of Sliema and St Julians, so these are good places to look for charter companies.

There are also a few companies offering boat hire in Malta in the developing resorts around Mellieha on the northern tip of Malta Island as well as on nearby Gozo Island.
