night clubs in Malta

This summer, me and my friends are considering a trip to Malta rather than Ibiza..the only i wanted to know was about the nightlife and night clubs in Malta? what are the popular dance clubs there, and is the nightlife in Gozo any good?

If you're looking for a lively and buzzing nightlife, Mdina is one of the best places to enjoy the night scene. Here, you'll find the famous and largest dance club in Malta, named the Gianpula, which boasts seven bars and lounges, a large open-air venue and top DJ's spinning on the night.

On Gozo Island, the night scene is fairly relaxed, although there is a few discos such as La Grotta, which is an open air night club, located in the lovely Xlendi Valley outside of Victoria.
