Things to do in Frederick Maryland

Hey guys,

We'll be landing in Baltimore next week and we're very much looking forward to it! We'll be satying in Baltimore primarily but we'd love to do some day trips...what things to do in Frederick can we do, and is it far from Baltimore?

Any suggestions?

hi there,

Baltimore is just an hour drive from Frederick so it is an ideal day trip. A popular thing to do here is taking a walking tours of the area. For instance, the historic Schifferstadt House is a popular attraction you must not miss. It is an 18th century farmhouse which is still kept as it was back then.

Also, don't forget to visit the Catoctin Mountain Park and Cunningham Falls State Park, where you can explore many preserved ruins from the colonial times.
